Ruangwarta.id – Konawe Selatan – Sekretaris Jenderal Gerakan Pemuda Masyarakat Bersatu Sulawesi Tenggara (GARU SULTRA), Ildam Saputra, menyoroti keras sikap Pemerintah Daerah terkait pemberitahuan pembayaran Uang Kuliah Tunggal (UKT) bagi mahasiswa Universitas Halu Oleo (UHO), khususnya penerima beasiswa Pemda.
Ildam menyebut, informasi yang diterima mahasiswa dari Pemerintah Daerah Konawe Selatan baru disampaikan satu hari menjelang penutupan pembayaran UKT, kondisi ini dinilai sangat merugikan dan berpotensi membuat mahasiswa gagal membayar uang semester.
“Ini sangat kami sesalkan. Pemerintah daerah seharusnya memiliki tanggung jawab moral dan administratif terhadap mahasiswa penerima beasiswa. Informasi penting seperti UKT tidak boleh disampaikan mendadak,” tegas Ildam kepada media, Jumat (06 Februari 2026).

Ia menilai keterlambatan ini mencerminkan lemahnya koordinasi dan perencanaan pemerintah daerah dalam mengelola program beasiswa pendidikan, yang sejatinya bertujuan membantu mahasiswa, bukan justru menambah beban psikologis dan akademik.
“Kami berharap kendala pembayaran UKT ini segera diselesaikan. Jangan sampai mahasiswa yang tidak bersalah justru kehilangan hak akademiknya akibat lambannya respons pemerintah daerah,” ujarnya.
GARU SULTRA menegaskan akan terus mengawal persoalan ini dan mendorong pemerintah daerah untuk lebih transparan, profesional, serta bertanggung jawab dalam pengelolaan beasiswa mahasiswa di Sulawesi Tenggara.
